An instant classic, Braker is the smaller sibling to our bestselling Barton frame and offers a classic rectangular frame packed with performance technology.
Borrowing from our award-winning performance Sunglasses, the lifestyle frames of the Braker feature ultra lightweight TR-90 nylon, which are lighter than acetate or polycarbonate, nearly unbreakable in daily use, and impervious to chemicals. The Braker also features our PROpriety GEKO™ technology, both in the temple grips and in our patented, interchangeable nose Pads. GEKO™ is a hydrophilic Compound designed to get tackier when wet or sweaty, which helps our glasses stay in place when you’re active – working out, hiking, bending down to pick up the groceries, or playing with your pets or kids.
At the end of the day, all of this tech is meticulously engineered to deliver the performance you’d expect from sport glasses without having to look like you are about to step onto a racquetball court.
The Braker is assembled by hand at our own Optical lab inside our Austin, Texas, headquarters and is available for direct purchase. It also can be made in Prescription Sunglasses and Eyeglasses.
